SUNDAY ADULT EDUCATION CLASS

Sundays from 9:45-10:45 AM in Room 301

Elements of Easter

Come join us on March 3-24 as we think about four major elements of the Bible for Easter Sunday. For four weeks, we will explore each of the following topics: the empty tomb, the appearances of Jesus, the angels, and the resurrection. We will look at these elements as they appear in all four Gospels and explore the different emphases, descriptions, and unique pieces that undergird that incredible Sunday morning. See Easter in new clarity as we come ever closer to our celebration and joy at the end of the Lenten season. Questions?

VOCABULARY OF FAITH

Have you ever felt confused by the terminology we use in church like "justification," "confession," or "incarnation?" Would you like to delve a little deeper or have a better understanding of them? On Sunday mornings and Wednesday nights during April, we will be exploring eight different words that define and guide our faith. In addition to studying how the Scriptures help us understand these words, we will look at a corresponding article from the Augsburg Confession to help explain and define them. Come gain a fresh appreciation and approachable way towards understanding important words of your faith. Questions?
